I have feelings
I see humans erupting with them
I see humans full of anger - is it anger?

My feelings are stimulated
I know I have feelings roaring through my body.
Behaviour before me is really explosive in words and body language.

I am detached from it all.
I can only observe.
I can only clock my feelings.
I am not engaging.

I am watching Big Brother.
I am sad of the pain I see in human frames
but I watch it to learn about all this stuff.

It is good for me
because I specialise in emotional literacy.
I specialise in managing behaviour.
My own, that's a challenge, and helping others to too.

When I feel these feelings I send the signals
into my thought process.
I need these skills in my life.
In life and in facilitation.

"You made me feel ....."
is a commonly used phrase.
Well established and
it will not change.

But I don't believe it.
The feelings we have are our own.
No one can make us feel.
It is behaviour that stimulates our feelings.

I can understand when someone is aggressive
and we feel angry or intimidated or weak.
My understanding is - that these are our feelings
not another persons.

They are being driven by their feelings.
It seems to me that we need to feel the feelings
inside us as a result of intimidation/threat/ and then
decide how best to respond.

Thought out behaviour is always a better option.
NOT being a reactor - but a reflective responder.
That's my thinking from learning
on the front line.

Bring it on Big Brother.
